This sweet four patch quilt takes on an unexpected attitude with a few splashes of grey.  Choose a light to medium grey for the feature 4 patches and setting squares. Modern, low volume fabrics work nicely for the rest of the setting squares.  The darks used for the 4 patches are solid-reading fabrics including black and small scale prints.
